Any idea how this is done?

I just want the users to go to the forum instead of the portal

I dont have a portal!! My user go straight to the forum... how do you turn them to the portal first? Here is mine http://www.soapdiscuss.com

By default, the portal doesn't really exist to users. If you put a link to it, or used one of the plugins to redirect users to the portal, remove it, then delete portal.php.

You'll have to add a link manually to the header template to portal.php, or use one of the Portal Redirect plugins.

The portal is there, but it's just not linked to by default: http://soapdiscuss.com/portal.php

Just noticed that it was in .htaccess

It was a bought site =/
