Long story short, I changed usergroups to Administrators, Moderators and Supervisors instead of the traditional admin, super mod and moderator but on my forum team it still shows my usergroup 'supervisors' as 'moderators'

how do I change this? I had a look in the forum team template but didnt see anything.

It'll be because you've added those suers as moderators to forums, they're just known as 'Moderators', you'll probably need to edit a language file to change that.
