Hello,

Is there anyway that I can change the way that a theme I have looks so that the username/avatar is on the left side instead of above the post?

Change the setting in the Show Thread Options for gusts and new users.
Change the setting in your User CP Option to change it for you.

Admin CP > Configurations > Show thread Options > Classic View instead of Horizontal.
