I am just learning about the bots that wander in and out of my forums. I can see them just fine as i do with a guest or registered user. So that is not a problem.
What I am wondering is, why would a Bot be listed as "sending PM" when I do a complete look up for who is online?..see attached image..

Bots index pages, so why would it be wandering through the PM feature?

The bot follows the links in your forum. When he follows the link behind the button to send a PM in posts for example he comes to the no permission page. When the bot is "viewing" that page he's shown as sending a PM.
