I uploaded a clip from Top Gear to youtube so I can show my friends. After a while the video was removed because it was BBC material. Ok, no big deal...
Does anyone know a way I can share videos on a forum and not have to worry about this again?
I cut the clip down to 11mb and tried uploading it as an attachment to my MyBB forum I created and it wouldn't work. I don't mind using the storage on my forum for videos.
Any help would be appreciated.
Upload to your FTP, give direct link for download?
Or... install a video sharing program?
That, or just link to the original video that the BBC uploaded themselves with their youtube account?
What kind of video sharing program are you referring to? a Mybb plugin?

There are few, and most hosts don't like them, unless you have a very regulated server (unlikely these days) or a VPS. Your best bet is to add the "fair use" text.
