Recently on my forum, an angry admin deleted all of the boards as he didn't have access to the database and ftp. I was wondering if any of these posts and threads can be retrieved from the database some how and put into the newly made boards.
If he deleted something, it's gone for good unless you have a backup.
damn, I thought that deleting the boards would make the threads and posts orphaned as he didn't touch a single thread just the boards that hold them.
No, deleting a forum deletes everything in it, otherwise you'd have no way of accessing those threads. See if your hosts have any backups.
