I am trying to install mybb on my web server. I have followed the instructions and in the install directory there is not install.php or any install files. I have checked the zip file and there is no install in it either...Any suggestions....

There is no such file called install.php in the install folder, it's called index.php...

What instructions have you read that tell you to go to install.php...?? It's ./install/index.php
