MyBB Community Forums

So, I just got web-space from a friend (I'm new to the whole web-site thing).

So, I've decided to use MyBB for a gaming forum for Bad Company 2 and I would like to know if anyone can talk me through installing MySQL and MyBB so that we can get our forums up and running.

You shouldn't need to install MySQL, that should be there already. If it's not, I would seriously suggest finding a host that has the server set up for you, setting up a server is not something you want to be doing if you're brand new.

This is not the place to get help on how to install MySQL and as Matt said, if it isn't even there then the host is completely stupid.
