Yesterday, I purchased a new domain name: http://postsfrom.us
The current site that I have is http://forumsrule.com and I purchased the http://postsfrom.us domain so I can point it to the http:///forumsrule.com domain. Well, I already have it set up; however, I'm coming across an issue that I can't seem to work out...

Whenever I type 'http://postsfrom.us' in the address bar, it automatically changes to 'http://forumsrule.com'... yet, i want it to show 'http://postsfrom.us' instead. How do I fix it where I have two separate domains pointing to one website... instead of having two domains pointing to one website where one of the domains is forwarded to the other domain.

To understand what I'm saying, go to http://forumsrule.com .... once you go there, look at the address bar; it says 'http://forumsrule.com', right? Well, now go to http://postsfrom.us and look at the address bar; instead of showing 'http://postsfrom.us', it shows 'http://forumsrule.com' instead, as if the http://postsfrom.us is just acting as a redirecting domain. How do I fix this?

Thanks!
I guess under the in domain registrars panel .
Here is a screen grab of my name.com account on how to do it

You need to select Masked url forwarding as highlighted in the screenshot .
I don't know what's your registrar but it's same procedure I recon .
Under what category could I find that if I'm using 1&1?
Anyone?
Surely you'd be better off asking 1&1 that question as they're going to know where it is far better than we are... Undecided
Under the domain settings -url forwarding I recon.
If you USE "Domain Pointer" than URL forwarding..than its lot better to use double domain for single site.

Do DOmain pointing from cpanel.
and rest it will be easy to go...

Have FUn.! Smile

Where can I find the 'Domain Pointer'?
In Your admin panel of hosting account- whether it be direct admin/ cpanel/ kloxo. etc.,
How about you add it as a parked domain in cPanel? Wouldn't that work?
