Full Version: Where do I put the forum administrator e-mail?

Hello;

I am having difficulty getting the e-mail on the MyBB to work. It's not sending e-mails for new registration or for password retrievals.

I want to make sure that I have got the board admin e-mail at the right place.

Can somebody tell me where to put the administrator e-mail for the forum?

I believe he meant the email that gets sent out to people, not his account email. For the forum admin email,

ACP > Configuration > General Configuration > Admin Email. It's best to use a noreply email since you're just sending passwords. You may leave 'Return Email' blank if you want replies to get sent to the Admin Email. Smile

I was using a gmail account and it was not sending e-mails. I inserted an e-mail address using the domain name on which the forum is hosted. It looks like it might be working now.
