first i want to tell thanx for this great community about this great forum i have installed it and it's looking great but i have some problem < in my control panel when i click "Add New Forum " i fill all blanc when i click add new forum , a message appear :
The forum must belong to a parent forum or category. If you have no existing forums, create a category first (by setting 'Act as Forum' to 'No') before creating a forum.

how i can add forum and categories and i guess i have deleted "my categories , can anyone tell me how and help me

Create a forum as usual, just set 'Act As Forum' to 'No' and voila, you have a category. (A category is a forum container, there are four categories in these forums, "Announcements", "MyBB", "Customization" and "General Discussion".)
