Maybe because it doesn't send out an email for that by default...?? The poster of this thread is asking about the email verification emails.

Since I was asked to start another thread here we go. I still ask the same question , is there away for new members to be notified by email that they have been accepted/activated once the Admin has activated their account.

You'll need to edit the plugin file, and near the top you'll see an option for compatibility, which will currently be set to 14*, change this to 16*

Hey Matt,

Thanks for the link . The email to the user was the only plugin I was looking for .
I read the reviews and there might be some issues with it, is it ok to use with MyBB 1.6 ? And has anyone been using this with no problems?

I haven't used it so I wouldn't know to be honest. However you can change 14* to 16*
