Well I am wondering if I can use Community Builder for Joomla and Mybb, as I am currently using Joomla with JFusion to connect Mybb to my Joomla site. Is this possible as I really like Mybb and wouldn't wan't to see it go.

Ask Jfusion. MyBB isn't bridged to Joomla officially, so this isn't the right place to ask.

MyBB is not (officially) supported by jFusion any more, so asking there might not help either.

Too bad no one from here was willing / able to help support the MyBB jFusion plugin.
They've added Wordpress and jFusion tends to work pretty well.*
