Hi,

Unless I'm mistaken, it's currently not possible to automatically subscribe to new messages in a forum thread by subscribing to the forum. Users can only subscribe individually to each thread, or to the forum's new threads.

For small communities, being able to "subscribe and forget" to a forum would be wonderful. Maybe I missed something and this is function is already there?

Just click on a forum and look at the upper right of the forum display. There is a subscribe link.

I know, please read my post carefully. Subscribing to a forum notifies you of new threads, not new messages.
