i need to know what are necessary mods and plugins to be installed please?

There are no necessary mods and plugins as like they are called, plugins. They are just making mybb a bit more personal. However, my choices would be.

Google seo
Contact form
mybb go mobile
tabbed menu
my side boxes.

Some of these are premium though.

If you need a plugin, install it. If you don't need a plugin, don't install it. Add what you want to add and what you think your forum needs rather than just what everybody else has installed.

that's true ............... ask yourself what you need and find the solution for it .....

People ask me this all the time "What plugins do you recommend that i install?"

As matt said above, install what you need. I might run a playstation 3 forum, so i recommend you install a ps3 usertag plugin, this might be useless to you if your running an xbox forum.

My point is, install whatever you think is beneficial to you and your members.

I agree regarding adding plugins that add value to your board, rather than just adding stuff because you can, but I think that this one is the handiest of all, and is generic:

This CAN make many other plugins unnecessary.
