Which site our source do you think has the best interface graphics. I'm thinking about two areas.

1. Interface features like new posts, locked forum, and no new post on the index page. And on the thread list page, buttons for New Posts, Hot Thread (New), Hot Thread (No New), etc.

2. The buttons in the language folder, such as New Thread, Edit, Reply, MultiQuote, etc.

Honestly it would depend on the theme... Plus, they are more of accents for me than deal breakers as long as they don't have like white edges on a dark background.

The best place is probably icon packs (there are tons of them) and regarding larger images like New Thread, combine the icon pack with photoshop (or just make a simple button with text).
