I guess you've tried ccforum plugin.
It's running at 1.6.0 v at present, but its seems like you cannot update it at present until they have released their update.
What problems did you encounter with this plugin.

when i'm going to install new wordpress, can i use same Data Base as Mybb forums or Deferente one ? (creat un other DB for WP!!).
i want to use WordBB .
is it work with Mybb 1.6.2 ?

i'm trying to integrat Wordpress + Mybb using the WordBB ,
i put all infos that the plugin needs , but i got this error :
Quote:WordBB errors — “Configuration is not complete. Go to WordBB Options”
* MyBB root folder does not exist
i put a correct path and forum url ,

A HUGE workaround would be to use Joomla! jFusion...

sorry but i talking about Wordpress + mybb
You could install Joomla! and JFusion and that plugin would integrate both MyBB and Wordpress.
But then you would have Joomla! that you wouldn't be using.

it's a deference betwen Joomla and Werdpress :

WP is a Blog
and Joomla is a CMS
I know. You would install all three and use Joomla merely to integrate wordpress and mybb.
It would be a huge pain, but a way to do it.
WordBB doesn't work with MyBB anymore.
