Description: I want to change the post icons represented on the forumdisplay.php. I searched google/bing/and this site but could only find repeat replies on how to change the legend at the bottom (which I've already done with the new images). My new images are .png so a simple overwriting the file w/ the same name is out of the question.

In the forumbit_depth2_cat and forumbit_depth2_forum template, change {$lightbulb['folder']}.gif to {$lightbulb['folder']}.png

Thanks for the reply: I did that change previously to take care of the new forum images on the index page, however the alteration doesnt seem to effect what I'm aiming for. Maybe this screenshot will help (I'm also using an Apart Flame based template):
