I think it's removed, I'm wondering what the code is and what file it'd go in to get it back.

ACP -> Templates & Styles -> Templates <-template set that is used by your current fourm theme-> ->Post bit templates -> postbit -> find and after

or just copy this content in postbit templates (from default mybb theme):

Hmm...it was there so that wasn't the issue..

Check to make sure you have enabled this setting in you User CP.

User CP > Edit Options > Make sure "Display users' avatars in their posts." is checked.

Yup, thats checked as well.

Also note, this is an imported database from my old forum. It was 14x and I just upgraded it.

In ACP->Configuration->Settings->Show Thread Options -> Maximum Avatar Dimensions in Posts do you have any dimensions (for example 40x40 or 90x90)?If that filed is empty avatars won't show in threads.

Did you import it into a fresh install or did you upgrade it?

Found the issue. Johnny S was right, it was set to 1x1 for some reason
