My forum used to be on www.example.com and we have moved it to www.example.com/forums.

Well, maybe I left a setting unchanged, because it seems like when an user clicks the "forum icon" (which is supposed to mark all topics inside that forum as read), no changes are executed (they refresh the page and the topics inside are still set as "unread").

Know what could be doing this?

Have you updated your general settings and cookie domain in the ACP to reflect the new directory as the root directory?

Yes, I followed everything that topic said, because I once had logging in/out problems.
