How do I remove them from indexing them like that, through webmaster's tools or robots.txt
I went ahead and added mode as a parameter in google webmasters. I told it to ignore it, the reason.
Having a hard time finding out how to do it with robots.txt
The example robots.txt that comes with Google SEO blocks mode like this:
Disallow: /MyBB/*mode=*
Google understands wildcards, there's no guarantee that other search engines do, though.
Personally I removed mode linear / threaded completely for my forum, as threaded mode is useless anyway.
How would i go about removing linear / threaded. That would be a lot more beneficial as you said.
Just remove the link in the post bit template.
Couldn't find it for some reason. Searched through the post bit template.
It's the showthread template, near the top. I'd remove it if I really cared enough, maybe once I've gotten popular enough to have to check my forum more than once a week
I've went ahead and edited my robots.txt template, Ill go ahead and do that later, thanks.

I did both and it worked.
