What does the "prune moderator logs" do?

Is there an online help feature that would answer questions related to the function of each feature within
MyBB forum? I just hate to ask silly questions if there is such an animal lurking out there somewhere.

When you use the prune function, you will delete the moderator logs..

An online help feature will be this forum, you can use the search function to search for existing questions. (Which are answered already)
