Does AJAX IM work on mybb, if so how do I install it?

Don't know about that, but https://blueimp.net/ajax/ Blueimp AJAX chat works great.

I am also interested in installing AJAX IM on MyBB.

Same, AJAX Chat is awesome (I have it), but it would be really awesome if the AJAX IM could be installed on mybb... :\
