So I asked my host to upgrade my site to 1.6.2 and I got this error going to upgrade.php

What's your database type set to in ./inc/config.php?? And what were you upgrading from?? You don't need to run the upgrade script if you were on 1.6.1 before.

DB mysql and my host said I needed to >.<.

And is your host a MyBB specialist?? This is why it's best for people to upgrade their own forums and read the blog post for instructions themselves. They've done something here if it's giving this error. It says this in your config ile, right??

$config['database']['type'] = 'mysql';

Yes they are and yes it does. i think I know whats wrong, I'm going to contact them then i will update you.... Haha pun....
