Well it's quite a basic design and there are some things which you could improve. Out of 10, I'd give it a 6.
Its hosted by 000webhost so that is probably why
What could I improve on?
Change the thead around so that it isn't rounded like it is now.
Also try to use images that aren't pixelated so bad (search for .png images instead of .gif)
Try to do a few template edits as well for some more unique features.. you have a good start though
Yeah, the thead is sort of ugly looking.
1. Images are pixellated
2. The body of the forum blends into the background, maybe make the background of the forum translucent to separate it frmo the BG.
3. The welcomeblock doesnt match at all
4. The "forum_legend smalltext" is black, that makes text on the BG unreadable

Yes, for your first theme it's very nice. Just look up to other designs and explore the templates. You'll be a pro in no time.
