Didn't want to hi-jack the happy birthday thread, so I'm posting here. Why wasn't the smiley parsed? If you quote and preview the post, it does parse the smiley. Not sure why it didn't parse it in that post though... Am I missing something obvious?

Should this be considered a bug? If Scoutie44 disabled smilies they should be disabled in quotes too, at least from my point of view.

Quotes are reparsed with the new message (as they're editable), there's no other way to do it really.
