Had to change to a different server.
transferred the database over, and did a fresh install of 1.6.2. and removed all the plugins.
My problem is that in the settings page I still get the settings for the plugins that no longer exist. How do I get rid of these????

did you uninstall them before deleting them

Go to: ACP > Configurations > Modifying Settings > and delete those settings which are no longer exists.
