What ever plugins I upload, mybb activates it automatically.
But, then, to make the plugin work, I have to de-actiavate and activate again.
Any clues on how to fix it.
It shouldn't be doing that... do you have any idea what might have caused this?

But MyBB most definitely does not automatically install/activate plugins.

Does you removed those plugins from ./inc/plugins folder after activation at some point before de-activating ?
It'll only show as activated after you upload it if it had already been activated at some point, and you deleted the files without deactivating it. Uploading files via FTP doesn't run any of the code in the plugin or any MyBB code to activate it, it's not possible for it to activate just by uploading it, it's not running any code to activate it until you click the Activate link.
