Confused. MyBB platform has 2011 copyright, but MyBB site has 2010 copyright?

Well the copyright date in MyBB already dynamically updates, that's why it has 2002-{$copy_year} in the footer template, $copy_year is set to the current year in the code. That code above is what you'd put on any other site to have the date change dynamically, just use PHP to echo out the current year.
