My company's just given me the go-ahead to begin work on migrating us out of jforum and over to myBB.

There is no direct support in the merger tool for this, so I'm looking into options.

Has anyone done this path before? If so is there a good middle step to try out? Was considering doing Jforum ---> phpBB ---> myBB. But if there's a cleaner way to go about things, I'd love to know before I get started. Smile

Hi,
we want to do the same. Did it work to migrate this way?
thanks,
Twain

It should work fine if the JFusion > phpBB converter is proficient enough.
Would it be possible to get a follow up on this to find out if it worked Arcady or Twain?
This forum -> http://jforum.net/ ?? If so that look slike an old phpBB layout/design.

I've built one Merge package, its not that difficult as long as you can understand the schema and enumerations and login requirements.

I could do it, but it would cost a fair amount of money for me to build it. I am not a cheap PHP tangerine, I am upper class ;-)

OP's last visit, September 2011.
still, someone new was asking if there was any word of success with a conversion.
If you are able to pay, I believe jForum is the same as jFusion and gConverter http://gconverter.com/jforum-to-mybb/ has a service for it.
