ACP>Themes & Templates>YOUR THEME>Edit Stylesheet:Advanced Mode:

Find:

textarea

change its background color value to whatever you want it to be.

Remember to edit the global.css stylesheet. You can find colours in a HEX colour chart, or you can specify it in words.
