On the main community forum, they have some nice announcments in the header thing. Im just wondering what news plugin they used? Thanks!

It's custom and just pulls latest posts for selected categories from wordpress.

Erm.. He doesn't asked any thing under the News bar

He didn't even use the word "News bar", he said "announcements". The block under the news bar is clearly labelled "announcements".

Yeah but they are so often referred to as Announcements. He did describe them as being nice looking, so I presume he is on about the 3 colored bars at the top.

Fancy colored bars: There's a plugin on the mods site, dunno what is called.
Blog/Latest News thingy: Custom, private plugin. Uses RSS iirc.
