and people said I can't do anything about it. Everything functions properly but some things just are out of proportion.

I would have reported this before if I had known...I only found out about IE9 problems after doing some research and quizzing my users in depth. I started to see a pattern emerge! Like I said, it was doing it for me but I was running IE8 (but...there's always a but...it is a rolled back version of IE8)
I did add the meta line in my header to force IE8 on all users' IE browsers and that seemed to help for now.
Solution: Screw IE.
IE is pointless to support due to the poor coding by Microsoft.
