I used mybb merge to import my phpbb data to mybb.
Here ir what i did-
1. I created a copy of my phpbb database
2. Created a new user and inserted it to the new database
3. Used the new database to merge
4. Merged 20,204 users and 534 forums
But mybb still not showing anything after 2 hrs.
Moved to merge support.
As for attachments, yes there are actually sometimes problems with attachments coming over. I have not been able to 100% diagnose this as yet, but it may be related to cURL.
EDIT: Also you don't need to make a copy of your phpBB database to work from, as the merge system does not write to your old database. You can safely test from an active board. To perform a final merge you would close/lock the phpBB forum so your users cannot log in and change anything, then run the merge system, and then point your users to the new forum.
Also don't need a new thread. Merged with the other one that I already moved to merge support.
Have you run the recount & rebuild tools in your Admin CP?

Users shouldn't need recounted. If you run all the recount & rebuild tools you should be fine. The statistics one makes the proper number of users show on the forum stats.
