Hi guys it's me again. I'm trying to lower my mem usage.

This is my current board stats.

Generated in 0.0935700 seconds (92.61% PHP / 7.39% MySQL)
SQL Queries: 30 / Global Parsing Time: 0.0372572 / Memory Usage: 8.75 MB
PHP version: 5.2.16 / Server Load: 0.89 / GZip Compression: Enabled

Then someone told me to do a fresh install then here's my result.

Generated in 0.0216899 seconds (91.31% PHP / 8.69% MySQL)
SQL Queries: 10 / Global Parsing Time: 0.0158298 / Memory Usage: 4 MB
PHP version: 5.2.16 / Server Load: 0.91 / GZip Compression: Disabled

Now i tried important my database backup to the new install BB.

Here's the result:

Generated in 0.0462229 seconds (86.10% PHP / 13.90% MySQL)
SQL Queries: 10 / Global Parsing Time: 0.0225270 / Memory Usage: 5.75 MB
PHP version: 5.2.16 / Server Load: 3.66 / GZip Compression: Disabled

My mem is still high 5.75 MB , i bet if i'll put the same plugin i'll get 8.75 ..

Is the mem usage a server issue ?

Note: With a default installation i already get 4MB ???

I'm on a shared hosting using litespeed.
Is there any particular reason you are trying to lower the memory usage? Keep in mind that the values shown there do not mean that thats how much memory is being used constantly by the forum, it just shows how many MBs of memory were used in the 0.05seconds that the script took to run.
Also those values are pretty standard for a new install of a forum or any other php/mysql application of this size.
i didn't know that , i thought the lower memory the better. Actually there's no issue at all with my forum , no lag or slow down.

Thanks Sir

and my cpanel
CPU Usage 16 / 100 %
If there's no slowness I wouldn't really worry about it. Memory usage here is currently 13 MB, it's not loads.
