Can some one help me.
I need to limit the characters in the Field Bio, in the Custom Profile Fields.
Because some users make alot of spam there.
Admin CP > Configuration > Custom Profile Fields > Bio > Maximum Length.
Then enter a number.

Its fine here, it doesn't need a plugin.
The bio is a custom profile field and as such you can change the length as already stated by faviouz.
Admin CP >> Configuration >> Custom Profile Fields >> Bio Enter the length you want in Maximum Length
I thought the same too G33K but I tested on my forum before I posted, it is not restricting to certain characters.

I doubt the OP is asking to restrict "certain characters". I assume he is asking to limit the characters (limit the number of characters?) which is totally doable.

Hi to all, when I say limit, its the limit of characters.
Because, I have some problems with Bots every day, and they have more then 500 character on bio.

BTW, I try what the Faviouz say, but doesn't work. the field let put more then 500 characters.
Is the bio field set as a textbox or as a textarea?
Although the description says that it applies to textarea and textbox, maxlength only applies to textbox.
