Am afraid this is probably a dumb question, but new at this game... am assuming we need to register to use our own forum ?
And then we can set specific categories/posts(after create the posts) etc to be 'read only' etc from the ACP ?
Also, is there a good/simple non-geeky tutorial on how to create/manage/use MyBB forums ?
You dont register to use your own forums, your admin account is made via installation
The best way to learn how to use/manage/create mybb is to learn by mistakes
but you will have to look at a couple of tutorials like administering, FTP they are mostly within the user submitted tutorials
