No you don't need to reinstall because of these errors...

Look in your server error log to see if it says what is actually triggering the errors.

Thanks much for the reply and suggestion.
Am somewhat of a novice at this unix/linux thing (what little have done has been with unix)... where should we look for the server log (screenshot attached) ?
Also, only uploaded the 3 'Fit On Page'(FOP) files noted in 1st post.
Should we be uploading any other files that came with the FOP downloaded zip file ?
Am really new at this 'plugin' thing.
Thanks again for your help.

Have you tried removing the FOP files again? This should restore functionality to the rest of your forum while you figure out what went wrong.
Worked with HostMantis support and turned out to be an admin/index.php permissions problem.
Dont know what it was because they reset it to 755 from whatever.
They also indicated 755 is a typical chmod setting (ie 777 is too risky), and I think working from their cPanel, rather than our ftp client (WS_FTP95, wer oldies), is better at least for chmod and 'searching' for files like 'error_log' (which didnt exist).
This 'forum' creation thing is turning out to be a loooong learning curve, but am glad for HostMantis and MyBB support... even though sometimes we seem to get 'hints' :)
Plugins and Themes are next on the list.
1st to see how 'fit on page' works and go from there, I guess.
Thanks again to all for your help... and am sure, future help !
./admin/index.php only needs to be 644, not 755. 644 is standard for files, 755 is standard for folders.
