Hey,

Just setup my first group promotions, when a user makes 10 posts or more they are bumped to a new group.

Im not sure whether group promotions promotes people who already have over the post count or not, but ive made sure that Group Promotions was enabled in the task manager, and I ran the task a few times and nobody was in the new group.

Any ideas?

They have to login at least once, then when the task runs they'll be bumped.

Ahh ok, so they will stay in the old group until they login and then when they login if they meet the requirement they are bumped right?

Yes, it only affects people who meet the criteria and who were active since the task was last run.
