Registration Ajax is not working.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated! I have been unable to locate any information regarding this topic.
This is the message I received from my host:The validation code in validator.js does not seem to hook into the username field on your registration form in any way, so input into this field is not being validated on the server side. There is not any evidence of a server configuration issue that would be preventing this from working correctly. Please continue to debug your scripts and let us know if you suspect any specific problems with your site as related to the server configuration, or if you have any questions about the information in this update.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
