I am behind a uni network, and I was wondering if my proxy could be unblocked so I could make comments. I can understand why it was implemented in the first place though.
I'm not aware of any proxy firewall on the server but you might be getting picked up by the data centers DDoS protection or something.
I suggest you contact your university network administrator and simply ask them to unblock this site, I can't see them having a huge problem with that. Otherwise you should probably just respect the filtering that your university has put in place and just come here when your at home, some universities might ban your computer account for evading their filter.
