I have yet to see css successfully applied to a <tr> so you might try applying it to the <th> tags instead. Changing the class to ".tcat th" might at least partially do the trick, and I'm sure you can figure out how to get it working from there.

I always apply classes to TRs in personal projects o.O Never tried with MyBB though.
