does anyone know if there is a way to shut down the Additional Info on the members profile ?

I am getting tired of cleaning out members profile's that join don't post anything but fill their bio up with nothing but spam links.
its starting to drive me crazy.

I am now reporting 6 or 7 people a day to stop forum spam site for doing this, but its becoming a never ending job.
as it is i don't allow members Signature's because of the same thing.
seems i slove one problem and they find somewhere else to list their crap.

Those are custom profile fields.

You can change the behavior of those under Admincp >> Configuration >> Custom Profile fields

You can hide them, make them not editable by the user or delete them all together.

thanks for that i can now go to bed and know i won't wake up and and have to look for more spam posted over night.

knowing my luck they will post on the main forum but at least i can ban them in one easy stroke.
