When using PHP mail, how do you change the default FROM email address?
Right now its being set by the server to my default server username.

Is there any way to chose your own email address?

(I cant get gmail to work as my SMTP, so I am going with PHPmail method)

ACP > Configurations > General Confgurations > Admin Email > and edit your Outgoing email address.

A few hosts override the headers so if changing the admin email or return email does not change the from address you'll have to ask your host to either change its behaviour or give you the option to set your own from header.
