Is there a way to make a certain board 5-10 posts only?
I have a showcase board for websites but i do not want people just registering an advertising a website and leaving.
I want the members to have at least 10 posts before making a topic within the specific board.

I have done that but how do i set that Group Promotion to the certain board?.
If i could avoid using a plugin then that would be even better.

You can disallow Registered Group from posting there but Allow the New Group (which have promoted after acquiring the required post count) to post on certain forums.
In the Permissions of the Board within the Admin Control Panel?.
There's no Group Promotion there to be selected.
No, the New Group which can be used to allow posting in certain forums. You've to assign that New Group to give them privileges of posting on those certain forums.
