How do I allow a certain group to have the delete post function such as mods have.
This includes (And the only reason I am having trouble), locked/closed threads.
A basic plugin overview would be great.
It *should* work to assign that group as Moderators to a forum.
It would be a plugin for a global board action.
The user would be able to delete his posts in any thread (Closed or not).
Does a function have to be coded in or can it be done with groups / mod status?
Almost forgot about this. I am returning to try to figure this one out. Was working on some themes but now I need this done.
Would anyone know of a way to get this to work?

Wrong concept.
There are already numerous plugins to allow users to close their own threads.
As you know, in a closed thread, staff have the ability to delete posts without the need to open that thread.
How would I allow a check for certain usergroups to delete posts in closed threads.
Obv. the posts have to be their own but it just skips checking if the thread is closed or not.
Still seeing if anyone could set an already made function for this instead of making a new one.
