Google Apps Email Settings:
IMAP: Enabled
POP: Enabled

MyBB Settings:
Mail handler: SMTP mail
SMTP hostname: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP port: 465
SMTP username: [email protected]
SMTP password: password
SMTP Encryption Mode: SSL encryption
Mail Logging: Log everything
Add message ID in mail headers: yes

When I try to send an email, my System Email Log shows:
Unable to connect to the mail server with the given details.<br /><br />0:

- Check that your server's ip is not on any of the blacklists like spamhaus etc
- Make sure your server can actually open ssl sockets.

If you have been using this account to send out a large amount of emails or spam-like emails it may have been blocked by google. You might even have to unlock captcha for the account. (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/gm...0240&hl=en and https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha )

The SMTP Email was working before, on the same host, on my old forum... I decided to start my forum fresh (did a fresh install), but kept my old forum in /forumBACK/.

edit: ByetHost (my host) does not allow "mail and sockets" and that's the reason why the SMTP didn't work. >.>
