Another 'novice' question...

Would like to add a text line at the top of the main page at our forum.

Is there a main HTML file that may be edited, and/or other 'template' files that need to be edited ?
I think you can use Board Messages for it: http://mods.mybb.com/view/board-messages

Thank you for the reply and suggestion.
Actually would like to add just one (formatable) text row a top of main forum/s home page, ie located where MyBB image is/was originally located.
Would rather not deal with plugins unless absolutely necessary.
Seems like text row should be an easy html edit, but from past MyBB 'novice' experience, understand other file edits are sometimes necessary.

You just edit the templates in the ACP... ACP > Templates & Style > Templates...
