Are you using google seo or any other seo plugin that came with a modified inc/functions.php?
If you are then don't use the default inc/functions.php, instead use the one that came with the plugin corresponding to your MyBB version.
As for your IP problem, what is the ip thats being registered for every user? If its the same ip as your host or is in the range of your host's ip pool then it is possible that your host is using a proxy which will mess up with the ip location.
