any tips on how to reduce the server load / lower the sql queries?
are there any plugins which create alot sql queries?

my site is hosted by host gator.

Google SEO adds a fair few queries, but the page load times are acceptable. Does the forum seem slow to you??

okay, great! =) it's not slow to me i was just curious.

104 queries on the index? Dayum! I used to average 22 usually and 45 at peak times (when a tasks were all being run).

As Matt said though, the times still seem great.

There should be no peak times. The number can change but not the much. And task aren't run on index page.

Well, it always seemed that way anyway. Whenever I first logged in as the first login of the morning, there would be around 45 queries, then it would settle back down to about 22-24 for the rest of the day. If it wasn't caused by the task system, I have no clue what it was (I just assumed that was the cause - it never made a difference really anyway).

Either way, that forum is gone now haha

What kind of server are you using? Shared, VPS or dedicated?

Shared.

I would slow down on the plugins. your queries are very high.
